oh gosh... this feels so odd...

i haven't posted here in ages...

owwhkayy... errmm... well... as u all very well know i'm in cardiff now... thats in wales if you don't already know... classes have started and its all quite alright... things to get used to... the people, the weather and the food...

what i miss back home?? the people, the weather and the food...

its not all bad... when u think about it its actually all kinda pleasant here... besides the fact i miss a certain someone like crazy and he misses me too... ahh well... he's probably sleeping his silly head off now...

well... looking at the blog... the layout, the posts, the outdated links, the colour... everything about it... is not very me anymore... i think just like how u grow out of clothes... i think i've grown out of everything that exists on this blog... they're memories for sure... and i think i'll keep it open for memories sake... but i think... this shall be my last post on this blog...

so thank you very much everyone who has been reading this... however infrequent... thank you for being my public ear... when i needed a certain anyone to tell a story or rant to... thank you again...

bloody trojans... using your computer or the internet nowadays is like fighting a war...

defending your fortress of information against spies and intruders...

ok you computer whizzes out there... i'll be eternally grateful if you can help me with this...

i have a norman antivirus software.. original k... my firewall was Not On... don't ask me why... i never knew it was switched off...

this morning after i switched on the computer... i got 4 alerts from norman saying that it has detected a trojan and sent it to quarantine... fine and dandy...

later on... i accessed norman's quarantine window and deleted all 4 files... immediately after i deleted it... norman rings again saying they detected a trojan and sent it to quarantine...

i don't know much besides what i see from the quarantine window.. here it is...

Date: April 28 2007 (which is odd because it said september 12 a few mins ago... and yes norman rang again)

diagnostic: W32/VBTroj.HHO

it doesn't make sense cuz when i looked at the properties of the file on windows32... it says it was created on september the 12th... but updated on april 28th... 2007... wtf???

all files previously infected had to do with windows32 and among them was my flashplayer that got infected... sin yew suggested that i delete the file on safe mode... but deleting w32sys.exe???? wtf?? won't the computer cease proper function???

there goes...

things that i've found that have made me happier than i've been in a long long time... maybe ever in certain aspects...

but as life's drama goes on...

its not the changes i'll go through that worries me...

its the changes that'll happen here when i'm gone that i think about the most...

updates on my life...

1. the only significant thing that happened... me and the cuzzin... going to singapore... shopping our brains out... woohhoo... that is until daddy sees the credit card bill and realize i spent the bulk of the bill buying underwear... (i was lacking k!!! i just got a little over the top this time.. hehe.. )

otherwise... its been bumming and trying to settle all the stuff needed for visa applications... the biggest hurdle before actually flying off..

randomness begins to hit...

if doubt was test by mother nature of your trust and faith... what happens if you trust that at some point in your life you're going to doubt yourself and the people around you...

if soul mates truly exist... then what about those whose souls never find another soul capable enough to heal theirs...

if dreams are constructed by your sub conscious mind and your conscience is said to be your sub conscious mind... why does your conscience lie?? and if when they do... who else's own advice do you heed...

if somebody up there created us to lead the world to eternal happiness... he/she/it screwed up majorly...

end of the week...

this post was started some time ago but never posted...

ahh well....

here it is anyway...

finally... weekend!! or more like the end of the weekend!!! hehe...

its off to singapore tomorrow with wen de wen wen... haha... u know who you are...

things achieved this week...

1. rehearsals rehearsals more rehearsals... client meetings... costume shopping...

2. show 1:

Electrolux launch- excluding a huge costume scare and the almost biggest boo boo ever from funky socks... it was fun... met some interesting people aka. The ComeBackKings (go check out their blog..) and had a good laugh along the way.. first time in a 5 star boutique hotel... pretty darn pretty... (^_^) all hail electrolux's deo-cooler fridge!!!

3. show 2:

ok la... not exactly a show but an audition... the hannah tan audition... finally get to see francis n sal after... errmm.. 2 years?? since the last charity concert anyway... it went well... excluding my few extremely obvious boo boos... haha... which they forgave.. i think.. lets cross our fingers n await the results...

4. show 3:

telekom malaysia's EPL launch- wigs!! my worst nightmare... i don't think i'll ever look or feel comfortable in anything except my own hair... all part of show business... we are here to entertain... thats the truth... and if wigs are needed to do it... we have to use it... hehe...

that aside... it should be a brilliant 2 weeks up ahead... with lots of shows and an upcoming trip with da cousin to our neighbouring country for da MEGA SALE!!!! should be good...

as for the rest of my life... regardless of what other 'higher powers' might think... i'm going to enjoy the rest of my... 9 weeks?? in malaysia before i fly off to UK!!!

i wonder when adults stopped talking...

i just experienced this... situation... and i must say... it got me thinking...

when did adults stop talking??

are we naive as to talk endlessly about the quality of life... of the authenticity of religion... of the past... of its effect on humankind... of the changes that humans have gone through... of the harrowing experiences of others... of literature... of movies... of... anything and everything to question and wonder about on a windless, starry, full-mooned night...

again are we too naive to question...

or have these questions lost its novelty on adults who have been here for much longer than we have...

or maybe... just maybe... they've finally found answers to the many questions that we as intellectual youths ask each other on a daily basis...

it seems to me as we grow older that we have less and less time to reflect on our own lives... our own beings etc etc... just today... i realized that i haven't walked on the grass on my own lawn for... ages... since i last watered my mother's plants... gone are the days when i used to sit on the swing on a nice cool evening to sing songs to myself n watch people go by... thinking. just time with yourself and the world...

today i relived one of those times... and the realization of how long i hadn't done this made me realize that the process of growing up tends to stunt the ability for us to have moments like these... how many adults in our society do you see nowadays ask questions like they did when they were young...

why oh why did they stop asking??

when oh when did they stop caring about the answers to these questions?? and simply live their lives accepting that they are just part of the mechanics in the automobile we call society... churning and churning progress into thin air...

or perhaps the answer to all these question are satisfied when u arrive at a certain point in time of your life...

then why are scientist or theorist and a minority of adults asking the questions which they do??? did they not find the answer like the rest of the adults??? or were they not satisfied with the answers that were given to them... hence the inspiration to try to figure it out on their own...

adults if you're reading this... whatever the answers may be... i'm not too bothered...

however what i am bothered with is keeping moments like tonight alive and present throughout my life... not only present but constant... taking a step back from material and commercial and social expectancies to reflect... to think... to enjoy another's intellectual company... to watch the moon move across the sky... to breathe the night air... to listen to silence...

if i ever stop questioning in the future... friends you know who you are... knock me on the head and get me to read this again...

i will continue talking...

i will continue questioning...

i will continue searching for answers...

i will continue having these precious little conversations as well as moments...

because in this sense...

I NEVER WANT TO GROW UP.

POST TRAUMATIC STRESS

exams were traumatic... yes yes... that coupled with a whole load of things that happened to me in the past months... yeahhhh... shucks... i can honestly say now that its over that this is the shittiest exam i've ever had to take... and the shittiest months of my life thus far...

the emotional strain i've had to go through in the past few months have been... traumatic to say the least... with the parents expecting you to bounce back in an instant to do whats right and be strong cuz they didn't raise no weak kid... its not their fault... i feel like i need to be that way... but it all accumalates and i must admit that there have been times where i just felt like giving up... fuck the world's expectations... let me recover will you??!!?? but no... the world is not so forgiving and my ego and will to survive will not allow myself to do so... i am stronger than that.

post exams partay:

i was in disbelief... i still hadn't gotten over the fact that i don't have to worry about what is waiting for me to study... or what time do i have to get up tomorrow to go for exams... or what if i have to draw a "kfc" airplane on my examination sheet... (inside joke) but there we were eating korean bbq... going for battlefield and dota... and the atrium... (pictures up when i'm in a better mood la k??) getting more drunk than i have ever been in my entire life oblivious to the many dramatic happenings around me...

***i'm so sorry to have to have put u guys through all that but i honestly did not know that all that was happening... and a very huge thank you to you guys for caring... you guys deserve an award for best classmates seriously... thank you again...***
